As a small, hometown business, we have strived to offer the best options possible for almost any budget (let's face it, custom framing can be costly).
That's why you want to make sure it's being done by a professional who has the skills and knowledge to make it last. Framed Art is like furniture for your walls, only more. It tells your story. It expresses your personality. It evokes emotion, and memories, and hopes, and dreams.
We have framed almost everything over the years, and that has taught us a lot! We like to think we've only gotten better with age. We know we've gotten smarter! We've framed it all over the years!
Deborah or Jackie are here to help design the perfect framing package for your needs. From a priceless, original work of art, a simple drawing your child may have created, a decorator print or poster, needlework, that all-important Graduation diploma, family photos, wedding bouquets, to Grandpa's WWII uniform or medals, there are options for it all! We have the experience and knowledge to help you preserve whatever memories you want to put on your walls.
Unlike many custom shops, we also offer quality ready-made, off-the-shelf frames for those things that don't really need a full custom job. Bring in your project today!
We also provide re-frame services. We all have pieces in our homes or offices that have been there forever, and we don't want to get rid of them, but they are looking really tired and old, right? Most people are amazed at the difference simply updating mats and changing color tones can have. We make your tired old pieces new again!
We have teamed up with a variety of local artists to showcase their talents in our gallery.
Living on the Atchafalaya River, and being Cajun, the people in our area have always been adaptable, innovative, taking pride in our culture and heritage. This is evident in the artwork produced by our local artisans.
Offerings include driftwood sculpture, wood turnings, jewelry, pottery, oyster shell art, watercolors, photography, oils & acrylics, and mixed media pieces.
Gallery Coffee is a small coffee bar inside the shop where we whip up delicious espresso drinks and specialty roasted coffees. We added the coffee bar about 15 years ago because there wasn't any place downtown to enjoy a good cup of coffee or cappuccino, so we wanted to fill that void.
It's been a very interesting endeavor, and we've tasted some interesting coffee over the years: "white coffee" from Malaysia, Kona from Hawaii, Fijian coffee, Central & South American coffees, and those roasted by small independent roasters here in the States.
